About The Star Rating System |
Cupid.biz uses a 5 star rating system to rate the dating websites - a 5 star rating is the top rating and 1/2 star is the lowest.
When Cupid.biz does a review of a website, we assign a star rating that we feel reflects the quality of our experience.
We also provide the opportunity for users of Cupid.biz to provide their opinions and ratings for websites and we take this information into account.
Once a website has 3 or more user reviews, we take the average of the user star ratings and use that average as 50% of the total
star rating. As an example, if Cupid.biz rates the site as a 2 star but the average of 3 user reviews is 4 stars, the overall rating of the site
would then be 3 stars.
By using this organic community feedback, we believe our rankings will continue to become more accurate overtime, and thus
