Match.com is perhaps the best known of all of the dating websites and it our favorite of all the sites we have reviewed. The site was first established in 1995 and was redesigned and relaunched in 1999. Match.com is now the largest dating website on the Internet with over 8 million active members and growing!
When you first sign up for Match.com, you are categorized by zip code to assist users in locating potential matches within a relatively close geo-location. Match.com does not offer the niche channels offered by some other major networks such as FriendSearch but given it's vast database of members, simply limiting a search by your interests is still likely to return a large number of members specific to your criteria.
