When dating online, what's the best location for a first date? |
A coffee shop is often the best place to meet for the first time because it's not too intimate and because the encounter is
generally pretty brief. If you do not feel the chemistry you had hoped for when you meet for the first time, it can be easy
to end the date cordially after a cup of coffee rather than feeling obliged to spend time with them for the entire evening.
If after coffee you would like to continue getting to know one another, you can always go for lunch or dinner, or perhaps a
nice walk. Save plans for any formal dates until meeting for the second time.
